Unfortunately injection moulded plastic is only cheap in the 10000+ unit production range, so we might be paying a bit for each one if he only makes 100 to start..... My suggestion for someone wanting immediate protection would be to find an equipment case that basically fits, and fill it with foam cut to hold the evolver and protect the knobs.
