Hi, Actually, around where I'm located (in the Chicago area) there is a chain of stores called "The Container Store" which sell very nice little (medium and large also) black plastic equipment cases. One of the sizes fits the Evolver perfectly (together with it's power supply and some cables). If you are really worried about the knobs, they also have small sheets of foam that can be placed over the knobs. --- In DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com, "mr julian" <jujulilianan@h...> wrote: > > >From: "Ravi Sharma" <noision1@h...> > > >Dave could make and sell a nice tinted hard plastic dust cover that snaps > >onto the unit. > >It would serve three purposes perhaps: 1) dust cover, 2) > >travel protection, just throw it into a soft bag and not worry about the > >knobs, and 3)allow one to stack slaved evolvers under the main one. > > > Hey thats a very cool idea! especially the idea of making them stackable! > Unfortunately injection moulded plastic is only cheap in the 10000+ unit > production range, so we might be paying a bit for each one if he only makes > 100 to start..... > > My suggestion for someone wanting immediate protection would be to find an > equipment case that basically fits, and fill it with foam cut to hold the > evolver and protect the knobs.
