Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

I'm having zero luck getting my Evolver to transmit midi data from 
the sequencer function to other synths (no problems with 
incoming midi data).  I have alternately assigned the midi out to 
channel 1 and ALL on the Evolver - both to no avail.  I've also set 
the Poly chain to ALL.  

I've checked the cables and they work fine with all of my other 
gear.  More importantly, I've read the manual and still have had 
no luck.  Does the sequencer transmit midi data?  I

Any thoughts?  I'm stumped.
