Another little feature I would like to see: another Trigger option: "MIDI advance". This would advance the sequencer one step every time it receives a MIDI "note on" message. More specifically, receipt of a note on message would (a) trigger the envelopes, using the current sequencer step to get pitch, sequencer mod settings etc, then (b) advance the sequencer to the next step. Successive note on messages would step the sequencer through its whole sequence and back to the start as normal. This was a common feature of the old analogue sequencers. It means you can set up a sequnce of (say) 5 pitches on the Evolver sequencer, then feed it (say) a 7-note rhythm pattern from a MIDI sequencer, to get an evolving rhythm/melody pattern which lasts (in this case) 35 events before it repeats itself. - BillB
