Some weeks ago I thought about how to increase the traffic on the Evolver
list without posting sounds and tracks. I had an idea but wanted to wait
until there was more than one week of silence ;-)
Somehow I was sure that it would work :-p

same here. or are we both just ignorant?

other strange behaviour: if i put the editor in my OSX application folder it
freezes during boot. if i put it on my main hd (not in any subfolder) or
leave it on my desktop it boots just fine...

anyway, i'm looking forward to use this. it will make life with my evolver a
lot easier. thanks for making this application!

I was able to reproduce the problem this morning. I'll make a new version as soon as
it is fixed. Sorry about that.

I also made another app called 'Twizzler', designed for real-time hardware-based
tweaking. If you have a control box like a PC-1600, Control Freak or anything that
sends out 0-127 CC values - like a Waldorf Microwave XT, for example, Twizzler
allows you to map 16 controllers to your choice of 38 Evolver parameters. No sysex,
not scaling, no muss, no fuss. Just map and go. This is a lot of fun, expecially with
delay and feedback while the sequencer is running.

I'll post both the updated Evovler Editor - found some bugs myself last night, and
Twizzler later on.

okay - new version posted in time for the weekend. Hopefully this should solve the
problems people were reporting. Also includes the previously mentioned Twizzler
application. Happy tweaking!

I'm looking forward to checking it out. When I got this thing, I
figured it would be a piece of cake to program from the front panel,
since I used to have an Oberheim Xpander which is quite similar. I
didn't count on having to remember a bunch of opcodes for the parameter
values though, so the editor is apprecieated.

mmm. works fine here.

on another note, it seems like the osc 2 and osc 3 level faders are
reversed in the mixer screen.

Make sure you copy the *entire* folder and not just the application to your
applications folder.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
