Evolver Editor Interest?

Evolver Editor Interest?

2003-09-03 by Sayer

Who has experience with the editors currently available for the
Evolver (SoundDiver, Unisyn or freeware Mac editor)? The reason I ask
is that I approached a friend who does very nice and reasonably
priced editors about doing one for the Evolver. He wants to know how
well the currently available editor options work and how much
interest there would be for a PC editor before he commits.

His site is here:
http://soundtower.com/synth/editors.htm

Thanks!

application to make my own waveforms and to organize patches. i guess
maybee both are in progress less or more. so if your friend will do
this for low i will be happy ;)

My thought is that it's always good to have a new way of looking at
the same thing. Yes, I find the interface of the Evolver to be very
intuitive and easy to use. Others will disagree with that and for
them a good and inexpensive editor would be helpful. It will also
increase interest in the instrument as well. For those of us who like
the interface already, having an alternate means of access to the
device might even motivate further innovation.

Well... I just shipped my Evolver to SoundTower so they can create a
PC editor. :)

Does anyone know if it is possible to program the sequencer from
software (midi)? I'm hoping Mark can build it into the editor.
