Hey, that's great Richard!  Glad you got everything working OK.  And 
you're right, the MIDI OX SysEx window IS a bit buried.  It took me a 
while to figure that one out when I first started using it.  
Fantastic little utility, though!

I used to think the same thing, but if you start digging deep into 
MIDI OX, and become aware of all the different things it can do... 
well, I have to be fair and say that's it's a fairly complex program, 
and it's probably never going to have a "wizard-like simple" 
interface.  That's not to say that it couldn't be improved, but hey, 
I'm not going to bite the hand that feeds me!  ;)  MIDI OX is 
outstanding, and it's honest-to-God shareware.  Tough to beat great 
software for a dirt cheap price!  :)

I'll admit, though, if we had a *dedicated* "one task only" little 
utility that did nothing other than open sysex files and send the 
contents out over MIDI, it would be faster and simpler.  If I start 
programming anything myself, though, I've already decided that what I 
would build first would be a great *librarian* for Evo.  I'd want 
such a librarian to provide support for lots of additional info to be 
stored with each patch (like patch name, author name, category, 
comments, etc.).  OK.  Duh.  I guess such a librarian could have the 
ability to actually send the sysex via MIDI, too, rather than just 
creating a sysex file on the hard drive!  :)  It's just a matter of 
finding the time to do these projects!
