Thoughts?

Thoughts?

2003-09-06 by threerocks2000

Hi all, newbie to the group here. Been considering purchasing an
Evolver; only wish some of the music stores in my area carried it
so's I could play before purchase. But alas life (and music stores)
are seldom complete....

Since many of you have had your E for awhile, I'd like to hear your
thoughts and concerns, likes and dislikes, etc. on this unique
synth. Appreciate all responses, and thanks in advance. SeqB

Wow. Tall request! :)

SO much has already been written. I'd highly recommend you browse
the messages here in the Yahoo group, and the discussion topics over
in the Evolver forum at EX5Tech (link below my "signature"). I'd
also recommend you listen to the mp3 demos. If you download the new
soundset called "Evolutionaries" from EX5Tech, there's a good mp3
demo included in the archive that will give you a good idea of what
the Evolver sounds like, and what it's capable of.

Bottom line? It sounds fantastic, it's WAY more capable than most
other monosynths in it's class, it has no serious flaws, no bugs of
any consequence, is only slightly larger than a VHS tape, and is dirt
cheap.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
