Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

Hi all, hope someone that has patience can help.  Recently downloaded 
and unzipped the OS 2 upgrades, but I'm totally clueless as to the 
next step. Dave's documentation seems geared to those who have lots 
of experience updating hardware OS's, and I have none. Zero. Zip. I 
don't even know what a MIDI Sysex dump is....

I do, however, have an Edirol MIDI/USB interface, the simple one with 
computer I/O.  All I need is someone to hold my hand and guide me 
thru what I need to do here--step by step. IOW, Evolver #766 is 
screaming "upgrade my OS" but it's owner is totally clueless.  Help!

if you have a pc, serach for a sysex app. for pc..
if you are like me and use mac, you can use a app
calles "sysex 470" that app does only that!! sends and
recives sysex. you import sysex=the new os(or
soundbanks or whatever) to sysex470 and with a push on
a button in sysex470 you send=dump the new os to your
loved evolver:)
