envelope follower turns off my envelopes!

QQQQRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG !@!~ I've got a droney patch with some envelope follower modulation... I trigger a note & hold it down, and every time I send audio in, it goes into the release stage as if I turned the note off !~@!~@~! i*%r how dew eye get the audio in not to kill my notes? I just want them to stay on! LOVE, MAGIC_SILVER_BOX
