crackling noise @ highpass

.. has anyone the same problem ? some noises come up when activating the highpass filter sometimes... i use just a little overdrive and maybee delay - but everything is very clean - not distorted. then i activate the highpass and there is this crackling noise.. hmm just wondering where it comes from ?
