More Poly Evolver demos wanted

More Poly Evolver demos wanted

2004-03-18 by dflat9sus4

I've listened to all the demos on Dave's website, but I haven't yet
heard what I want to hear... polyphonic patches with variety, you
know, something other than just parallel octaves and fifths. I
realize the name of the synth is "evolver" so a lot of the demos...
evolve. But I don't hear much of a "pad-monster" in the PE demos.
Are there any other PE demos out there? Thanks.

I've recorded my time with the Poly Evolver, and would love to share
the MP3s, but I'm not certain I could do so without upsetting Dave.

I'll send some email and ask if he's fine with the idea.

Not exactly "pads heavy", but here's another...

No effects, completely dry, one take, no practice, recorded into
crummy laptop sound chip:

(As previously posted here and at EX5Tech.)

If you haven't already done so, you may want to also listen to this
one, even though it was done on a "regular" Evo:

http://www.ex5tech.com/zTemp/TheEvolutionary.mp3

This was recorded from sequences available in the "Evolutionaries"
soundset. Additional details can be found here:

(Note: If your email client or the Yahoo group splits the link(s)
above onto two lines, you may need to copy/paste the link(s) into
your browser address bar.)
