That's such a tough question to answer...for some people it could
be "nothing" and for others, "everything". Before I ordered an
Evolver, my synth list was smaller than yours but overlapped it in a
few places: a Korg Z1, Pro-One and a Juno-60. Since then, money has
been tight for me too and I sold my Pro-One to afford the Evolver. I
don't regret it. It excels at weird sounds more than traditional
synth sounds (though it can do those too) - and since weird is what
I'm into, it's perfect for me. The sequencer combined with a long
list of modulation routings adds to the "surprise" element for me.
I'm not the kind of person who will purposefully program a melody
into it...I just tweak until I get something I like then shape it
from there.
