new DSI evolver owner!

new DSI evolver owner!

2004-07-17 by aaron_bliss

Well thanks to reading your posts, and spending lots of time on the
web I went for it and so far am amazed. first thing I did was start
tweaking the box a bit, looking at presets,
wish it had a headphone jack :(
so, next step, manual, so far it isn't looking like the easiest
thing in the world to program, but who knows I may be proven wrong.
I would really like to reset to the factory settings but isn't
looking like there is a way to do that, but we will see.

thanks again guys!
Aaron

Congratulations, Aaron!

The output jacks will run headphones. I use a two male (right and left
output) to one female (headphone 1/4 input) for a stereo image.

Have fun!

Is there anywhere you can buy a real Y adapater with the correct 1/4"
plugs/jack for the evolver going into 1/4" headphone jack? I couldn't
find one anywhere, so I ended up with this frankenstein thing composed
of a Y cable and like 12 jack adapters plugged into one another...

An example of what you want to look for is:

http://www.hosatech.com/hosa/products/ypp-136.html

Hosa YPP-136 - stereo 1/4" female to 2 mono 1/4" males. I believe
that's what I use and picked up at a random local music store, Haight Ashbury
Music Store in Sunnyvale, CA. Ideally, one of the Hosa dealers on the net
should have it.

Or, try one of your local music stores. Good luck.
