sooo.... i stupidly haven't read this forum in months, and I only remember good comments
about the editor... and I unfortunately bought it yesterday. given the recent hot thread,
sucktower, i now realize that was probably a mistake. anyways, i might as well post my
problem regardless in hopes of maybe this isn't a bug with the program but just me being
stupid. the problem: though i am definitely sending and receiving midi to and from my
evo in other programs, I can't seem to get the evovler to connect with the editor in OS X...
in the midi setup i have the right ports selected, but when i poll... no communication is
displayed. the editor will send program changes to the evolver, but that's about it I think
(though I haven't explored too much). any suggestions? ...I already looked at
soundtowers "help" page for the recommended settings on the evo.

I use win2k and have the exactly the same problem (can edit out, can't
send any Evolver in), I get no help from Sucktower, though I've sure
tried.

And make sure Dave knows about your troubles so maybe he can find someone
better to build one.
