oh shame, the wood looked so much nicer, and it tends to be more robust. I would rather have a chunk of wood on the side of both the Alesis Andromeda and Akai MPC4k... for both practical and cosmetic reasons I guess its a cost thing, but I wonder if it could be an available option? woohoo! nice one... :) I think a light oak (from a sustainable source obviously) of the kind some PMC speakers are made of would look most beautiful with the dark blue Richard ----- Original Message ----- From: <trippler@...> To: <DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 18, 2005 12:49 PM Subject: Re: [Evolver] New Pic of DSI PolyEvolver Keyboard > > Quote from Dave Smith: > "The wood sides on this one are wenge, an expensive exotic african wood. > We'll be getting some feedback at the (NAMM) show on the different woods." > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Richard Scott" <richardscott@...> > To: <DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com> > Sent: Tuesday, January 18, 2005 11:25 AM > Subject: Re: [Evolver] New Pic of DSI PolyEvolver Keyboard > > > > oh shame, the wood looked so much nicer, and it tends to be more robust. i like the inclusion of the signal flow on the front panel.
tony, from psicraft {author of the oft-alluded to new evolver editor}, will be at NAMM
this year, wearing a soundquest badge. if you see him, ask to see the editor - he said
he'll be happy to show it off.
