oh shame, the wood looked so much nicer, and it tends to be more robust. I
would rather have a chunk of wood on the side of both the Alesis Andromeda
and Akai MPC4k... for both practical and cosmetic reasons

I guess its a cost thing, but I wonder if it could be an available option?

woohoo! nice one... :)

I think a light oak (from a sustainable source obviously) of the kind some
PMC speakers are made of would look most beautiful with the dark blue

i like the inclusion of the signal flow on the front panel.

tony, from psicraft {author of the oft-alluded to new evolver editor}, will be at NAMM
this year, wearing a soundquest badge.  if you see him, ask to see the editor - he said
he'll be happy to show it off.
