I hardly feel the online snippits at www.davesmithinstruments.com do it
justice.  
It is fat, it is hard, it is weird... And all kinds in between. I think the
best way to hear it in use is to go to

This guy is very prolific on this list and writes a lote of stuff using
pretty much ONLY the evolver.  There are examples of the poly too if you
click on that link.
