I must admit not really using mine, the Alesis A6 has so many knobs its much
more appealing and the nord modular just has so much everything... so yeah I
dig the evolver but I'm not actually choosing it very often at the moment

Like others I'm awaiting the new editor because the hardware interface,
although a great minimal design, is just not very appealing to my brain and
fingers, especially the sequencer

Richard

Re: [Evolver] evo in actual use in your actual music writing.

2005-04-30 by Monsieur O.

I have to say i haven't gone further than the wall of
noiz + beautifull delay feedback thing. which is not
so bad !

the only time i 'm really using it is by sampling some
parts i like to use them in the computer after.
i planned to use it live but decided not to as the
interface makes it way too dangerous....

but hey ! that's why i subscribed this list, to find
around some people who actually know how to really
produce some good shit with it !

Guillaume.

PS : i'm new to this list, so i just thought that was
the good moment to say "hi".

2005-04-30 by Stefan Trippler

Acrtually I don't make music, I only have fun in my spare time. And that's
why I use the Evolver quite often.

So did I tonight: http://www.trippler.net/files/poly/FastRezzy.mp3

Some subtile Evolver sounds and drums ;) I used the Evos stepsequencer to
trigger the filter of 2 additional Stylus RMX percussion tracks. Fun :)

Regards
Stefan
