PolyEvolver Keyboard!!!

2005-05-14 by Paul love

I just got mine yesterday and it is pretty damn cool!!!! My question is as far as
programing your own sounds with it is it easier to do it direct from the
keyboard or better with the software editor?? Also Does the software editor
work alright for Mac osx10.3.8Panther?

Depends how you like to work. I prefer programming on the instrument itself.

Yes - just make sure and download the most recent version from the SoundTower web site
(http://www.soundtower.com/evolver/). You want the one dated 3/30/05

i've found that the best part of the PEK is the interface - its pretty darn
easy to use.

but i understand that a lot of people are now used to programming with a
mouse & keyboard, so as DB has said there is no real 'best way', just
whatever suits you really.

probably why i like the nord modular so much - the advantages of both teh
software & hardware routes...

right, back to selling gear!
