There is an editor on the DSI sight, but I think its only free for
PolyEvolver and evolver users. PEK users need to pay for it, because
they dont really *need* it with the interface.

Does anyone know of a free program for uploading/saving user waves for
the PEK?

Thanks.

Tony

Last I heard of it, it was almost finished... Perhaps they're making some tweaks for the PEK?

Search through the history of this group and you'll find a nifty little application... Btw, the guy who made it also posted it to the Evolver forum: http://www.ex5tech.com/ex5ubb_cgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=23&t=000126

Hi Christian, Tony & Jan.

The real reasons for the delay in releasing our pending Vyzor
Evolver editor are two-fold:

1. We've been waiting for a unified PEK/Rack/Evo OS update to put
all three products on a common footing. We'll move forward in the
next month to work through the differences between the products if
this has not occured by then.

2. Our team has been occupied creating editors for the TC-Helicon
VoiceLive and VoicePro: These editors were directly commissioned by
the manufacturer for inclusion with the instruments in question,
and the contract deadlines in these cases take priority over retail
editors (such as Vyzor Evolver) release dates.

Both causes for the delay are mostly dealt with now. We're
looking to get back on track with the DSI editors within the next
few weeks and plan to have the Windows versions out by August. The
Mac versions will be out in the final quarter of 2005. I'll keep
this forum appraised of any changes to these plans, along with news
as it occurs.

All the best,

   Tony

The Sound Tower editor is only free with the rack.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for the info, I'm looking forward to the release... and I'm not
the only one.

There is and will be a growing market for VST-compatible synth
editors, the next big thing I'd bet :-)

Good luck with your business!

Sunny days,
