I agree. Smaller things having a wallwart PSU but not having a dedicated 
switch is pretty common. It never really bothers me either, because you can 
always unplug the power if you have to.

Me, I just turn off the synths at a switched power board. So switches on 
synths never really get used anyway.

You can always buy an inline switch at your hardware store and splice the switch into the power cord near the synth. Not a bad Idea if I do say so, I might do that!
