DSI Polyevolver "Analog" Demos...

DSI Polyevolver "Analog" Demos...

2005-08-08 by Carbon111

Greetings All,

I finally had a chance to do some quick-and-dirty recording and post
demos of some of my own patches as examples of the "softer" more
"vintage" side of the Evolver's timbre. There are a lot of demos out
there that showcase the extreme distorted-feedback sounds this beast can
make and, while I like those type of sounds quite a lot, I don't want
people to think the DSI Evolver dosen't have another side to it.

I've also added a "Programming Tips" section to the page...submissions
are welcome.

Thanks a lot!!!

I have been looking for that type of demos of the
evolver because that is what I want it for, and use it
with the sequencer. Well, I dont really like much the
kind of extreme madness that it can make. Ill hear
your demos, but wanted to thank you!

Nice demos!

Sounds like recordings I've heard of the Matrix 12 I think it was.
Wish my tabletop evolver came with a bank of 'old school' analog
patches. Actually I think the original V1 banks were slightly more
like that! But generally all the evo banks show off the rougher side
unfortunately.

I like the rougher side too but its all too easy to crank up the
feedback and distortion...I had to restrain myself while making my
"analog" patches ;)

Maybe I should post some of my "nasty" patches too? LOL!
