Re: [Evolver] Preset Tuning

Re: [Evolver] Preset Tuning

2005-10-21 by Stefan Trippler

The time span for factory presets before the PEK release was rather tight,
so some mistakes stayed overlooked. Part of this task was my job, so I
apologize ;)

It's not a malfunction of your unit. Some patches with FM or ringmodulators
can have tuning deviations even if the basic oszillators seem to be tuned
correctly. Same problem can exist with patches that use other sound sources
than the oscillators, for example a sine generated from filter resonance or
sounds generated from the delay lines or the tuned feedback.

Once when I have the time I'll post a corrected factory set.

Regards
Stefan

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
