I think it's normal... I get it too.
I consider it a feature of the evolver. It appears there's a small DC offset
somewhere in the VCA... or the envelope signal is just getting coupled some
other way, and bleeding through to the audio output.

Also make sure the "hidden" sound sources are down as well: osc3/4 ring mod (these will make sounds if turned up even if all oscs levels are zero, noise is zero and filter res is zero.
