Are you overlooking something obvious? Maybe. I'm not close to my
Evolver now, but I don't think this is a problem with your MC-505 or
your setup in general.
I *think* this may simply be an issue of needing to change the Key
Mode (row 1, column 8) to either LOr, hir, or LAr (Low Note, High
Note, and Last Note, with the trailing "r" indicating that the
envelopes are retriggered). I'm not positive about this, though,
because I'm not sure if the Key Mode affects the Sequencer
retriggering as it does multiple "key on" messages.
Another possibility... Maybe you have long decays and releases on
your filter and amp envelopes. This could cause things to SOUND like
the envelopes aren't retriggering, when in fact they are. Try making
the envelopes' decays and releases very short and see if it makes a
difference.
