WHen you say th Evolver syncs and follows tempo changes, do you mean you are
running the elvolver sequencer and it slows down and speeds up as you change
the tempo on the MC505? Or do you mean that the time dependent LFO's and
delay's inside the Evolver's patches change according to the tempo of the
MC505? If not these two things then I guess you mean that the Evolver
happily plays along as a static sound source triggered by the mc505, and of
course it tracks tempo changes. However unless you are acheiving the above
two examples, then you may still not have the CLOCK set to EXT in the mc505
(even though midi is still transmitted) the clock out setting on the mc505
is not under "shift midi" but under "shift sequencer."
I am sorry if you did all this before, but I can't tell from your email
whether indeed you have the clock out set to on rather than off.
