MEK over MONO

Hey guys, I'm planning to buy a MEK when it comes out, but i would have to sell my Evolver#162 and my Novation Remote25 controller. Which means i'D use the MEK as a controller for soft synths. Is there anyone who has seen an actual MEK board and can tell me exactly how are the knobs and buttons represented on the panel and what parameters they control ? (i can't see anything on Dave's picture of the MEK) Are those knobs smooth (or with a tick like the ones on the mono evolver) ? Are the knobs infinite (like on a Microwave XT)? Finally, how is the sequencer represented on the front panel ? Is there 8 flicking lights like on a mono, or 16 lights, ? Thanks for the info, Simon
