Imho it's difficult to mix the Evolvers, but that's a problem with most 
analogues that don't have frequency limitations like msot virtual analogues 
have..

Sure. Most times to cut off or attenuate certain frequencies, very rarely to 
amplify.

true my experience as well, a;though I do often use some kind of 
compression on because of its powerful filters.
