Absolutely. The concept is identical. You sequence your filter cutoff frequencies and you latch the sequencer to midi clock or whatever. With the four sequencers you can create even more crazy rhythms by sequencing lfos and delay amounths and times not to mention distortion levels, feedback levels and pitches etc.

Can you get the Evolver to do something similar to the groove filters in
the Adrenalinn. Possibly with the sequencer pointed at the filter cut off?

thanks,

ken

Speaking of Adrenalinn and Evolver, is there a reason that they look
so similar? Is there some vendor or something that is supplying some
kit for low production dsp hardware and casings or something?

Developed together, a collaboration between Dave and Roger, I think I
read that somewhere.

I could be wrong, but I think that it was Dave assisting Roger on the
adrenalin that got him excited about doing a hardware synth. Perhaps the
same board manufacture was used. The similarities are a small box with a
matrix method of working presets, other than that it is not like all the
knobs and buttons are the same at all. I don't know which of them came up
with the small box, matix solution, but it is clear that they share the same
design choices.

I don't know to what extent roger worked on the Evolver. I know he had a
beta (or alpha) at least and did some sounds on the sound page.
