I use Soundiver to edit the Evolver the add for Sounddiver is on Daves
Homepage...
Sync the Evolver to Midiclock and record it as a Audiofile in a
Sequencer like Logic,Cubase, Samplitude etc...while it runs in
Sync...sometimes i tweak it sometimes not i use here and there
Outboard Fx on this Evolvertracks.
Its very important to use a Editor for the Evolver cause this Beast must
be controlled...i dont like the most Presetsounds there are for me
allmost useless cause they Sound often so Distorted...
The Evolver is a very complex Synth then you will understand this
Synth much better as when only tweak around with the Knobs...
When record Audio you got no more Midiproblems like Controllers etc.
and it doesnt matter if its a Monosynth or not.You can record endless
Tracks now...
Ive done Years with Midi but today i use it only to play in then i
record it when it fits to Audio this is the much better Way for me
.Plugins etc... to add special Fx when needed and so on... i use both
Worlds to push it forward Analog and Digital.
But to record Audio without a Timingproblem/Good Quality you need a
fast and Good Asio Soundcard and a Analog or Digitalmixer with a
Severaloutput . When not you will have Feedbackproblems when listen
and record at the same Time...
I use a ESI Juli Soundcard its cheap but Good Quality and a Mackie
Mixer cause they have this Genius Alt 3/4 Severaloutputs and there
cheap but
Good..But of course you can use any other Fine Equipment to doing so,a
good
working Audio Computer is the Basic for working this Way.
Thats all
