Turn off the midi clock on yr PEK, sounds like it's set to ext (external) therefor triggering the internal sequencer to start... :-) There is always the manual... rtfm my friend! JUST KIDDING!

Subject: [Evolver] Poly Evolver's sequencer started by DAW transport: how to get rid of it?

Hi everybody,

I am a proud PER owner for one and a half week now. It has been a long time I had so much
fun making music!

I have a problem and was hoping an experienced user could help me. When I record a MIDI
track with my DAW (Pro Tools LE), and I play back the track over the PER, the sequencer
becomes activated. So somehow the transport control not only starts the MIDI track, but also
the sequencer. Is there a way to bypass this behavior?

Thanks!

Jack

Major/Minor Sequences?

2007-03-16 by Joe McGinty

Hi

I have a PEK, and I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to vary a
programmed sequence from major to minor, to work in a certain key.
Almost like, in a Casio, you could get a minor chord by playing a minor
third with the root in "auto-accompany" mode.
In other words, say, in the key or C, when I hold down a C, it plays a
major chord or sequence, then when I hold down an A, it plays minor.
Could a footswitch modulate pitch (just the third)? Is there a way to do
it as a split in Combo mode? I'm trying to wrap my brain around the
easiest way to do it in a live performance.

thanks,

Joe McGinty
