Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

Hello,

I just got a desktop evolver, but am having trouble getting a
controller keyboard to do what I want it to do. Basically, right now,
when I press a key a note will play, but if a press another one, a
note will not play. I have to depress the first key and then press
another for a new note to play which is very annoying. I have been
through the different settings, but am having no luck fixing this
problem. It would seem like if KEY MODE was set to LAr or LA, that
it should trigger how I would like, but nothing seems to happen when
changing this setting.

Any help on fixing this problem would be great!

I know it's a mono synth, the problem was the
controller was lagging behind, when I played it. I
figured out the problem, a bad midi cable.
