poly chain mode on ascending only

Hi, I noticed a trait that acts like poly chain mode is set to on even though it's set to "OFF" on my desktop model. When I press and hold some notes in a row I hear only the first, but this happens only when I play notes going up the keyboard. Playing descending notes acts as expected, each sounds individually. It's like poly chain is active only on the way up the keyboard. Is there something I have set wrong?
