Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

I just got a Evolver desktop and was trying to get it to start when I
hit start on my master electribe but am clueless as what to do. It is
on a different midi channel but what am I doing wrong? Can I use a
keyboard and have it midi chained up with the electribes still?

Midi start & stop aren't channel specific messages, so it's most  
likely how you have the evolver configured to respond to incoming midi  
transport commands.

The e-tribe might have a some specific send midi transport setting as well.
I don't have my gear at work sorry I can't be more helpful.
