Cleanest Evolver thru settings?

Cleanest Evolver thru settings?

2009-02-12 by m.calhoun

Hello,

I just added my desktop Evolver to an FX chain on my mixer's aux bus. The signal flow is
something like:

mixer send -> Evolver -> some guitar pedals -> mixer return

All of the thru presets (bank 3, programs 20 - 39) mess with the signal in various ways. At
times I just want the Evolver to pass the signal through as cleanly as possible, maybe
boosting the signal just a little bit. But so far I haven't been able to figure out the right
combination of settings.

Is the Evolver capable of being (relatively) transparent? Any hints?

Thanks,
Matt

have the hipass filter set to zero, as it`s kind of noisy..boost your signal with a touch of dist(3-4) signal gets kind of "amped" this way..if you want a flanger effect, set one delay to -speed50/ volume50(aprox) and have one LFO set for sine/speed1(slow) and that LFO to control that delay`s speed.. really nice kind of flanger effect this way..
good luck!
