Hi Woody-

I assure you Dave saw your initial email and he will see this one too. I am still with you, I think you have a great idea! I would like to point out if we did offer a "mod kit" with more voices, it would cost much more than a few hundred dollars extra. The addition of 4 more voices is essentially adding another Poly Evolver Keyboard minus the keyboard and the sheet-metal, which is the cheap part anyway. There would be less encoders to deal with too, but you get the idea. What that really turns it into is the Poly Evolver Rack. Although it would be theoretically possible to add more voices inside, it would still be very expensive.

You bring up another good point when you say the Andromeda and Waldorf Q have more voices and are more costly. That is precisely why the Poly Evolver Keyboard is where it is on price.
Perhaps the most important thing to remember though is your last line, which is that you sold your Andromeda to buy a Poly Evolver because it just sounds better to you. That's exactly what we are going for here at DSI, we want our instruments to sound absolutely amazing! We appreciate the compliments and the ideas and encourage you to keep them coming. We do take everything into consideration.
Many thanks,

Tracy

I WILL ADD THAT THE ANDROMEDA AND Q ONLY COST MAYBE 600 MORE THAN A PEK AND HAVE LOTS MORE VOICES. AND THE NEW 4 VOICE DSI-TETRA4 DOESNT COST A 'HUGE' AMOUNT. AND WHEN I ASKED HIM ABOUT THE TETRA A WHILE AGO , HE SAID HE COULD NOT 'CONFIRM ANY RUMORS' ABOUT ITS EXISTANCE.
