Interpart Sequencing?

Interpart Sequencing?

2009-08-22 by skylab001

Is there a way in combo mode to setup one of the patches to control another. Just as an example, if I've used all 4 tracks of the sequencer in patch 1, but I still need 1-4 more tracks, can I use patch 2 as an extra 4 tracks?

Thanks
Brian

hmm, I'm guessing from the lack of replies that this function is impossible? That might be why I haven't figured out a way to do it yet.

Did you try a midi feedback loop w/cable (midi out connect to midi in)?
For example:
Set each part is on its own midi channel in the combi. Say you want the 3rd part to receive information and its set on channel 3, so make sure it doesn't transmit on 3 but can receive. Then set part 4/channel4 to send on channel 3 for that extra sequence. Then have the other channels not transmit/receive any midi.
