Memory Wipe ... again ...

So my poly rack went 'blanko' again. My questions (note I have all latest chips installed): Is there an issue with an aftermarket power supply (nextech 9volt 800ma) screwing this thing up if it goes off then on in and around 1 second worth? If not, is there any explanation to this once in 8 month (second time this happened) complete memory wipe requiring a complete file re-install to keep written sound files working properly? How I resolved this issue, again: To resolve, I had to re-install the latest 3 os / voice / dsp files, step by step, via Midi-OX. Each step the unit had to be turned off as one file to the next, would only amount to a count down without writing for the next step = pain in the ass. What happened of late to it: When I last used it a few days ago, I admit I inadvertently switched off and on the power bar it was attached to while it was initially on, but it powered on fine after that with the sounds in place. Turning it on last night, everything was blank. When I 'transmit everything' via poly editor - soundtower the last saved soundset, it writes and sorta keeps. It sorta, by that the first prog/combi you select or click on will use that specific first selection to overwrite every other prog/combi. Thanks for any replies!
