Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

i got deoxit at radioshak and for $16 got my half dozen bad encoders to work... but how long will it last? i have an older Waldorf synth with encoders and they seem fine. ; i dont mind the encoders if they are RELIABLE. It seems DSI is only selling the PE version now---is this an admission that the parts were crappy? remember--NOT ALL REPLACEMENTS ARE POTS. many are still encoders---but Better encoders?????
