btw, what is the function of pressing [main] and the upper [seq1] together?
the display shows first 4 and then count down to 1.

Hi Nina.  Apologies for the slow response.  Work has been a killer.

I have no idea what the MAIN/Row1 button combo does.  I tried it, and 
it did as you said - the leftmost of the three LED characters slowly 
counted down from 4 to 1, during which time the Evolver was non-
responsive.  Maybe it's just an LED test.  Does anyone else know?
