Re: [DTXpress] external samples

2001-04-18 by Vivien Emiya

Hi!
It is not possible to import external samples onto the dtxpress, you must use a sampler and midi cables to trig external samples with your dtxpress.
To get natural cymbal sounds, try to use 2 samples on one pad(use the 2 layers) and adjust the xfade option. You can also edit your cymbal sample(decay, cutoff frequency,...) for more realistic sounds.

Subject: [DTXpress] external samples

Hi
Does anyone know if it's possible to import external samples onto the
DTXpress so that you can trigger them as you would one of the preset
drum loops?
Also what's the best way to get better more natural cymbal sounds?
If anyone can help it'd be great,
Cheers
Age.
