Non compatible MMC codes!

2001-04-28 by Jules Freeman

Hi Guys,
I have hooked up my DTXpress to Cubase VST 5/32. All is working
as it should except, when I move the transport rewind, or forward wind
keys and Cubase relays a RW or FW MMC (or real time message)
message the DTXpress makes the current kit go like really muffled,
as if you have turned the top and mid right down. It will stay like that
regardless of anything you do. The only way to fix it, is to switch off the
DTXpress module, and then switch it on again. You can use play, and stop
no problems and all works great.
I notice from the MIDI Implementation Chart that RW & FW codes are not
supported. But the Start, Stop, Continue codes are.
You would think that they would just be ignored?
Has anyone had this problem, Does anyone have a fix for it.
Best Regards
Jules Freeman, (Ourgate Studios)
