You can fold the kit up completely and leave all the pads on it. There is a
photo floating around on one of the websites that showed it in the open and
closed position. The cymbals fold down flat against the mounting arm, the
toms 1 & 2 get turned vertically and rotate parallel with the upper cross
tube. The snare pad and tom3 pads get rotated down in a vertical position
and the mounting tubes they are on fold back against the main cross tubes.
The hihat pad gets rotated vertically and swings parallel to the tube the
snare pad is mounted on. Then if you are careful and brave, you can leave
the module on, if not, then just disconnect the cables and remove the
module. And lastly fold the legs back toward the main cross rails.

Thanks Nick... so you detach all the pads? Seems like it would be cool
to fold the whole thing up with the pads.
