Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie...considering the purchase of an electronic drum kit as my first set due to living conditions (end unit townhouse in a quiet cul-de-sac). In the Musician's Friend description of the IIS, the following statement appears concerning the snare and I haven't a clue what it means:

"while the snare pads can also assign strainer control"

Can someone explain what this means?
