Just so no one thinks I died, I *am* still watching the list, just don't have much time to comment on Drum issues at this moment... :) I've been busy setting up for my Halloween haunted house this year. Last year, I used my DTXpress unit to make really scary chamber knocking sounds by placing a piezo pick up behind the front door knocker of my house and then plugging that into the kick input on the DTXpress. Placed the kit voice to "big reverb" and piped the output to a 400 watt pa system! The little trick or treators would get quite the thrill when they knocked on the door.. BOOM!! BOOOM!! >:D This year I've been busy building things like this: http://www.mugbbs.com/tower Try clicking on the "giant spider" link at the top to see how I spent this last weekend... ;) Also, I've been using the DTXpress with Sonar to make "voicings" for people all over the country. Quite a few "pro" and "semi-pro" haunted houses lack the audio skills or actor voices necessary to create an appropriately "eerie" introduction for their haunted house. These introductions are sometimes played to the audience as they stand in line for the attraction or used as "backstory" just as you enter the haunted house. Here's an example of the type of work I've been doing: http://www.mugbbs.com/voiceover/HailesHaas.mp3 Can you hear anything from the DTXpress "GM" list in there? ;) Or for a list of all of the "performances" I've done, go here: http://www.mugbbs.com/voiceover Anyway, if you're wondering why I have been in Lurk mode for a while... now you know! :) Vern -- Vern Graner CNE/CNA/SSE | "If the network is down, then you're Senior Systems Engineer | obviously incompetent so why are we Texas Information Services | paying you? Of course, if the network http://www.txis.com | is up, then we obviously don't need Austin Office 512 328-8947 | you, so why are we paying you?" \ufffdVLG
