Old Guy - Got a new issue

2004-10-12 by jggallow

Once more, thanks for your assistance yesterday. I'm getting the
system the way I want it. :)

I am having an issue with the new Pintech Hi-hat. I was able to
increase the volume and gain to get a decent sound out of it without
having to strike it hard. However, I'm noticing now that when I try
to come up on the Hi-hat peddle to sizzle the hi-hat while
simultaneously hitting the bass drum, I'm getting zero sound. At
least I'm not getting the open hi-hat sizzle. If I just hit the hi-
hat with the peddle undepressed and nothing else, I will get the
open hi-hat sound. But as soon as I syncronize a bass drum strike
with the open hi-hat - I get zero response. It seems like it's
getting cancelled a different sound.

Could one of the changes I made to the Pintech head have caused this
occurance? Any thoughts on a possible remedy?
