Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I think you will just have to experiment. You should be able to 
remove the unencumbered crossmembers from the rack (i.e. those with 
the fewest cables wrapped around them) without too much trouble. I 
would leave that section of the rack nearest the module in place 
(because you don't want to have to rethread all those cables!) but 
instead remove the upright bar on the opposite side.  I would try to 
keep as much of the kit intact as possible.  Only you will know how 
much of your kit has to be dismantled by checking the size of your 
car and the space in the back seat.
