Tom, The Dtxpress I and Dtxpress II and Dtxpress III are from the same module family, but that different and labeled differently on the front (and top) of the module. So, a Dtxpress II module should not be coming with a Dtxpress III kit. The drum pads on the Dtxpress II are the same pads that come with the Dtxpress III standard version. The rack is brushed aluminum, instead of black. The Dtxpress III Special comes with the newer round cymbals and the newer hihat, but the drum pads are the same as what came with the II and III std. The Dtxpress III module has some new voices on it. OGD _____ From: Tom Sent: Monday, November 01, 2004 1:30 PM To: DTXpress@yahoogroups.com Subject: [DTXpress] DTX II Module Comes w/ DTX III kit. Whaaaaa? Why did Yamaha name the DTX module as II and put it together with a kit they call III? What was rational behind that?
