Happy Thanksgiving to all our U.S. members, new and old. For those of 
you outside the U.S., tomorrow Americans will be celebrating (yet 
again) their cultural entitlement toward excess--in this case, 
gluttony. Some of us are still lobbying for an international holiday 
that can serve as an excuse for spending loads of money on drum 
equipment. So far we haven't had much success in convincing non-
musicians--particularly wives, parents, boy/girlfriends, etc. But 
we'll keep trying. 

Lest I leave you only with the wrong idea, I offer this well-shined 
pearl from William Blake: "The road of excess leads to the palace of 
wisdom." Enjoy.
