Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I just wanted to say a very sincere "Thanks!" for all of the detailed,
informative, helpful and encouraging assistance I've gotten from this
group on my way to getting my first e-kit.

I really appreciate those who have answered my questions directly
(emf, OGD, cheakmeister, Creighton, Ken, Don, et al) as well as all of
the detailed reponses to other's queries here and over at DTXtreme
which helped me to better understand this brave new world.  The level
of expertise and more importantly (to me, anyway) helpfulness in this
group is astounding.  No group I have ever encountered has even come
close.

As a result, I am now the proud owner of a brand new bouncing baby
DTXIIS and all I can say is: "YEE HAH!!!".  I've been away from this
for such a long time, but the love and the passion is still there
(even if the chops have migrated to parts unknown!).  This thing is
AMAZING!!  I look forward to many, many hours of constructive playtime
ahead.  Of course, that means more bonehead newbie questions for
y'all. ;-)

Forgive me for getting carried away, but I really haven't felt this
"alive" since my wife passed away last year.
